Very nice place

Very nice right on the beach front with the option of using a pool as well. Very friendly staff

Initially when I’ve checked in I was told that I can have early breakfast or on the go if needed. After 2 days when I was planing to have breakfast on the go as I needed to leave earlier I was told that it was not possible.

Nice resort to relax

The location next to the sea and beach is lovely and the pool area is well maintained and perfect to relax. Nice guys working at the pool. The room had a sea view that I enjoyed a lot. It’s very close to some sand dunes if you’d like to visit these during your stay. Helpful staff. various options at breakfast.

At night I switched the AC off and it made a noise then which was a little bit annoying when trying to sleep. The rooms could be more cosy and some furniture need an update.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The beach and pools were clean

The first room we had was a paraplegic friendly room, meaning some amenities weren't ideal (the shower had no glass to prevent water spillage, the basin had no cabinet or countertop). The staff relocated us to another room, but there was a terrible smell from the drain in the second room.

Too many people at the lunch buffet, there was no proper cooling in the dinning hall. Our chalet was good. Had no problems there. Staff was also helpful but it felt like at lunch buffet they were also struggling to cope with work pressure

Good place to relax

The view and the beach was good, it is not far from the sand dunes. The swimming pool is clean and there are couple of swimming pools to choose from. They welcomed us with fruit basket and chocolates, we had the adjoining rooms and it smells good. Just be careful with jellyfish during warm weather. The Italian restaurant next to the pool has good food and good deals.

The breakfast and the food they served in the main restaurant is not great, there more room for improvement.

The furniture is old, the appliances are over used, the smell of the chalet is cigarettes, the paint of the doors and the walls is dirty and there is only one toilet in the chalet

It was a wonderful family stay.

Went with my family. Perfect for a family vacation. Friendly staff and very clean room. Pools are very clean. The best thing is the private beach where my kids enjoyed the most. Breakfast is okay. Ordered food from in-room dining. Hats off to the chef, amazing biriyani.

Had an issue with noise in the night which was sorted out after I informed the guest service.

Good but not this villa

We liked that it has its own private garden and front view of the sea

The villa is very small and it has a connecting door with the villa next to it which was very noisy and annoying The beds where full of sand, the shower also and the living room floors which was very disappointing I stayed at this resort many times and most of the times in the big villas and they were 7 stars and perfect in everything But I think they don’t put to much attention to the small villas and that not good

For the 5 star rating? No, I was disappointed.

Facilities are ok. One staff member who remembered us from the years before, was very helpful and treated us very nice as the years before.

First room we got (AlBahr Chalet, 2 bedroom) We had to refuse. It smelled awefull in the whole chalet). They proposed another villa (Ocean Villa 3 bedroom)but had to pay for an upgrade which we did. We had already paid 3000 QAR that we could not retrieve in case we decided not to take any accommodation). Here we had a sewer smell from the bathroom. We called Housekeeping who came with a spray bottle, Instead of dealing with the problem, which was the bathroom drain. Staff at breakfast not so proactive, cleanliness was an issue in the restaurant (Breakfast restaurant). I have been coming here for nearly 7 years now and am surprised how the quality of the cleanliness went down just in one year. (After the rooms have been renovated a few years ago, which then was an significant upgrade). The problem in cleanliness is clearly in the housekeeping. Guy come with a mop and a bucket which he seems to take to all villas without refreshing the water. The water I saw in his bucket was already brown. Lack of knowledge about problem solving in maintenance issues. Drains dry out if you do not flush them weekly. That was the problem.

Short stay. The thing we liked about the resort is the location and hospitality

Breakfast was fine to good.(only thing not good was coffee and tea) Location of the resort is very good with the beach and the pool which was very good. Hadnt it been for the heat, we would have enjoyed the outdoor activities better. It would be good to have some more indoor activities during summer.

The dinner was disappointing as it was a set menu with very less options - it was more like alacarte. If we were given the right information while we pre booked the dinner we may have just come to the site and ordered alcarte.. We pre booked the dinner since we were informed that it would be a buffet as it was Thursday night and it would cost us us less if we pre book. But we found out that paying at the site would cost us less pre- booking it.

The service was bad. Had to wait 5 minutes for room service to pick up the phone. House keeping never answered the phone. Food quality was not up to the standard.

Great resort to relax or use as base for desert activities.

Very nice pool, gardens and beach. There is a children's playground which is gated. Great breakfast buffet with large variety, with freshly prepared eggs. Very friendly staff. Great location next to the dunes if one is interested in activities such as desert trips or dune bashing.

the staff was very friendly and helpful, but the level of english of some staff was not sufficient to answer some questions. A map of the resort would be helpful but there was none available.

We had a nice and relaxing stay

I liked the beach, facilities

I didn't like the dinner buffet.... it was substandard and not much choices. The bathroom drainage in our suite was smelly and there was a stench especially during the night.
